Uit die pen van talentvolle skryfster Hannelie van Niekerk.  Die Boesmanland, in die Noordweste van Suid-Afrika ervaar die ergste droogte in die geskiedenis van die dié streek. Sy het 50 boervroue gevra om oor hulle belewenis te skryf in die boek, My naam is Rut.  Sy deel die opofferings, die hartseer maar ook die hoop van vele Boervroue tydens hierdie uitmergelende droogte in ons geweste. Sy het die pad saam met elke vrou gaan stap en nooi ons na elkeen se binnekamer.
